Hahaha I like “conciseness is a disease.” I will have to think about how I want to define conciseness for this series.
At first I thought that meant trying to write the shortest sentences possible, but now I’m thinking it’s more about only keeping the words that produce meaning. Like a writing challenge that chips the rocks of my story down to its crystals.
Perhaps you need both rock and crystals (like Colson’s advice to show and tell), but for now, I guess I’m working on my welding skills.💎💌
